GIC members have been among the founding members of the EC Interoperability Cluster and have constant presence in its events and Information Days. GIC senior experts Yannis Charalabidis and George Gionis have actively contributed to the EIRR (Enterprise Interoperability Research Roadmap) revision and have been the editors of EIRR version 5, supporting EC in categorizing and processing contributions from the projects in the cluster. Furthermore, they have been engaged in the EC Interoperability Cluster white paper on "Unleashing the Potential of the European Knowledge Economy: Value Proposition for Enterprise Interoperability".

 

GIC experts have built on the strong research linkage between GIC and the EC Interoperability Cluster and have strengthened this collaboration in the context of the FInES (Future Internet Enterprise Systems) cluster. They actively participate and formulate ideas in the FInES Information Days, while they have provided input as contributing experts in the FInES Cluster Position Paper.
