As a concept, Interoperability
Assessment cuts across all aspects of interoperability (technical,
semantic, organizational and legal) and emerges as a field that has
to accompany all research and implementation efforts, in order to
validate and guarantee the reliability and effectiveness of the
solutions developed.
The Greek Interoperability Centre
recognizes the significance of Interoperability Assessment and
approaches the latter in terms of status and impact assessment
models and interoperability metrics that serve both the
quantitative and qualitative evaluation of interoperability
solutions and approaches and contribute to their further
improvement.
