Emmanouil Ntanos
Researcher, Electrical & Computer Engineer, M.Sc., MBA
Mr Emmanouil Ntanos is an
Electrical and Computer Engineer with an MSc in Electronic and
Computer Engineering and an MBA.
Mr Ntanos has significant expertise
in the field of business administration, (project management,
operations research, finance and strategy) and IT (Information
Systems design and implementation, specifications analysis,
programming, UI design and certification etc).
Furthermore, he has significant
experience in IT and e-government project management. As a
consultant for ICCS-NTUA (Institute of Communication and Computer
Systems - National Tech. University of Athens) he has worked with
the public sector in the design, management and implementation of
public sector IT projects and initiatives. These include the
installation of IT infrastructure and applications for e-government
(Local government, Admin. Courts), design and execution of state IT
subsidy programs and initiatives (Student computer distribution
program, private sector proposal evaluations, etc) and the planning
of IT strategies for the public sector (Ministry of Justice,
Pedagogical Institute).
His research interests include
enterprise modeling and optimization, strategic management,
e-government and e-participation. Mr Ntanos participates in the
PADGETS (Policy Gadgets Mashing Underlying Group Knowledge in Web
2.0 Media) research project as assistant project manager and
researcher. He is currently a member of the Decision Support
Systems Laboratory of the NTUA.
Mr Ntanos is fluent in Greek and
English and has a working knowledge of French.
