Ioanna Makarouni, Asst to the Project Director, Electrical and
Computer Engineer MBA, has more than 12 years of professional
record in the fields of: ICT technologies and Software Engineering,
Management and Decision Support Systems, Operations &
Production Management, Quality Managements systems. Ms Makarouni is
the Quality Manager of the Decision Support Systems Laboratory. She
holds considerable research record and project management
experience in research projects funded by the EC or the Greek
government in the sectors of industrial research, information
systems, egovernment - ebusiness etc. During the years she has been
acquired strong organisational skills - she has long track record
in organising, coordinating and managing high level events
(ministerial conferences, workshops, meetings etc). Moreover she
holds significant experience in the organisation and delivery of
training events, in designing and managing dissemination
strategies/campaigns. Ms Makarouni is a capable to co-ordinate and
guide teams of international experts and to rapidly establish good
inter-personal relationships.
