Dimitris Askounis - GIC Scientific Responsible - Project Director, Associate Professor NTUA

Dr. Dimitris Askounis is an Associate Professor of Management Information & Decision Support Systems in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA). Dr. Askounis has been involved in numerous IT research projects funded by the EU since 1988 (ESPRIT, BRITE-EURAM, FP5, FP6, FP7, CIP) in the thematic areas of eGovernance (CROSSROAD, COCKPIT, PADGETS, LEX-IS, FEED), eBusiness interoperability (e.

Yannis Charalabidis - GIC Manager, Electrical & Computer Engineer, Ph.D.

Dr. Yannis Charalabidis is an Assistant Professor of Information Systems in the University of Aegean and holds a PhD in Complex Information Systems Engineering from NTUA. Currently he is research collaborator/advisor at the Decision Support Systems Laboratory of NTUA and is involved in numerous eGovernance related projects such as CROSSROAD, MOMENTUM, PADGETDS, WEB.

Ioanna Makarouni, Asst to the Project Director, Electrical and Computer Engineer MBA, has more than 12 years of professional record in the fields of: ICT technologies and Software Engineering, Management and Decision Support Systems, Operations & Production Management, Quality Managements systems.

John Psarras - Professor, Director of DSS Laboratory

Dr. J. Psarras is Professor in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of National Technical University of Athens (NTUA) and Director of EPU-NTUA. He holds a diploma on Mechanical engineering and a Ph.D. degree on Multiobjective Mathematical Programming applied to Decision Support systems.

Harry Tsavdaris - GIC Technical Manager, Electrical & Computer Engineer, Ph.D.

Dr. Harry Tsavdaris is an Electrical and Computer Engineer with a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering. He has more than 15 years experience in analysis of IT requirements, design, development, programming, documenting and testing of IT systems and in the provision of training to their users.
