University Transilvania of Brasov
Transilvania University of Brasov
is one of the largest universities in Romania.
It is an autonomous state
institution that has the right and the obligation to create its own
regulations, structure, competence and selection processes outlined
by the Academic Board.
The foundations of higher education
were laid in Brasov in 1940, with the Academy of Trade and
Industrial Study.
