In the fast-changing world of
electronic governance and business, interoperability has been
recognized as a most important characteristic of processes, systems
and services. Bringing standardization initiatives, research
outcomes and industrial offerings to meet the demands of a
transforming public administration is a vital ingredient of
evolution.
With the support of the National Technical University of Athens
and the European Commission, the Greek Interoperability Centre
organizes the workshop "Greek Interoperability Days 2008", to be
held at NTUA premises on 8-12 December 2008.
The program of the workshop is touching upon research,
standardization and industrial development of key solutions for
businesses and governments in the region.
On the 12th December, 15:00 - 18:00, a specialized information day
of the Greek Interoperability Centre focuses on recent developments
in eGovernment in Greece and abroad.
Audience consists of industry and government representatives,
post-graduate students and researchers from various Greek and
International Universities, as well as high-caliber practitioners,
by invitation only.
The workshop takes place within the
frame of the GIC (Greek Interoperability Centre), a research
initiative which is funded by European Commission within the FP7
Research Programme.
