The 1st Panhellenic Student
Competition for Innovation in Electronic Governance is launched by
the University of the Aegean, the National Technical University of
Athens, the University of Piraeus and the Greek Interoperability
Centre, under the auspices of the Greek Ministry of Interior,
Decentralisation and eGovernment and the support of the Federation
of Hellenic ICT Enterprises, the Microsoft Innovation Centre,
Oracle Hellas and other scientific and professional bodies.
The Competition, that targets the
promotion of student innovation in the area of e-Government, will
select and reward the most innovative ideas and prototype
applications that demonstrate the impact of Information and
Communication Technologies in Electronic Governance with regard to
the improvement of the effectiveness of Public Administration and
the quality of services provided to citizens and businesses.
Submission deadline is
